West Sumatra is a province located on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. This province is the eleventh largest province in Indonesia

one of the food in west Sumatra, "ikan asin".

Jam Gadang, is symbol in west Sumatra, there is in Bukit Tinggi.

He is a "penabuh gendang". A musician of a traditional minang music.
